I had about 18 drafted posts, ready to publish, and some of them were just from forever ago, and I just didn't feel interested enough to post them.. so, I deleted them!
With the Holidays, I have had so much going on and have been super busy, and unable to blog as much as I should/want to! I still have about 8 drafted posts to publish currently though, and I will be updating regularly again, after Christmas.
Sorry! This is a time I need to spend with my family! So excited for Piper's First Christmas and for Aiden to open his gifts! :)) I will be doing a Christmas Haul too!
I cannot even believe it's already Christmas! wow!
I wish I had more time to update this post, but I have a little Miss at my feet staring up at me, jabbering away wanting some Mommy time before our Christmas festivities kick off in a bit!

Stocking Stuffer Ideas
Running around last minute on Christmas Eve (shame, shame:-P) scrambling what to stuff those stockings with? I've got some great stocking stuffer ideas for you right here! I will just group them into categories :)
Music and Gadget Lovers:
*iTunes gift cards! A lot of times during the holidays, you can find three $10 gift cards together, making it a $30 purchase, but if you separate them, you'll have them for 3 stockings! With iPhones, iPads, and iPods being so heavily popular, you really can't go wrong here.. And if they don't have one of those.. they can still download books, movies, songs to their computer with it :)
*Ear buds! There are so so many adorable/cool ear bud options out there, so you can easily find something for whomever you're looking for! These are pretty inexpensive too, most of them are around $5-10. Last year, Justin put some adorable pink owl earbuds in my stocking! :)
*iPod shuffle! These are one of less expensive iPods, and you won't be able to play games and such on them, but you will be able to listen to music, and if that's what you're in the market for this is perfect! I have one of these and it's so light and portable, I can just clip it to me and go! This is a really good deal on these, right here... This one also comes with an accessory kit! :)
*Colored charger cords for iPods, iPads, iPhones! You can get these so inexpensively on eBay! Just type in iPhone charger usb cord or something of the like and they will pop up! I got, I think, 4 light pink usb ones, WITH the wall adapters for around $1-2 each, with free shipping! So definitely check that out! :)
*iPod cases, iPhone and other phone cases, and iPad, nook, kindle and other eReader cases for our gadgets! Amazon and eBay are definitely the places to go to get some really cool ones for really inexpensive! This is a really nice one for those beauty girls who love their iPhone :)
*Silicone speaker for iPhone: These run about $2-4 and they are so handy.. we got Justin's brother one for his stocking and it works! You can pick these up at Walmart! You just stick your phone down in the case and listen away; it even stands! :)

*Cologne for Guys is a good one! Here is a 12 pack fragrance sampler from several good brands at Sephora, for only $50. $50 is pretty expensive for one stocking stuffer, in my opinion anyways, but I like to put one nice gift with the stocking, personally. So this could be the perfect thing, if you've got a guy in your life that LOVES smelling good! :)
*Perfume! Girls LOVE smelling good, or at least I hope they do... I wouldn't wanna walk around smelling bad! haha! There are many options when it comes to perfume for ladies! You can go with a full sized bottle, a mini bottle, a roller ball, a fragrance sampler like above, or you can get an atomizer for her stocking, and buy her a perfume for her gift! (To me, I would love the last option, I have always wanted one of those! haha)
*I definitely recommend the EOS lip balms, I've been using them over a year now, and they are amazing and super moisturizing! And they're really inexpensive.. I have several of them, but I love the Sweet Mint and the Lemon Drop. You can get these at Rite Aid, Walmart, several different places I believe!
*hook ups by mark! These are perfect you can decrease so much clutter in your purse by using these hook ups.. snap a lip gloss, and a mascara together and throw it in your purse and you're good to go!

This Semester is OVER!
YAY!! My semester is finished! :) Now time to get busy and have fun! :)

Fall TV
With fall TV wrapping up soon, I have to finally talk about it... I have sooo sooo many shows that I am absolutely in love with!
My top ten favorite "Current" tv shows are:

****SPOILER ALERTS****
OK, not sure where exactly to start.. so I'm just going to jump on in..
SONS OF ANARCHY: The season finale will be next Tuesday.. wow! I have to say, we started watching SOA, a couple of months ago, on Netflix, and completely blew through all of season 1-3 in a couple of weeks.. then I had an Amazon gift card, so I ended up buying Season 4 for Amazon instant video on xbox! We blew through that so crazy fast as well! It was getting insane! I loved seasons 1-3 like crazy, but then season 4 was just insane.. good, but insane! So, I had to keep watching.. Season 5 was already airing on tv and we had missed 5-6 episodes of it already, so I bought the episodes on Amazon instant video... and we caught up with what was being aired on television... sooooooo.... hmmm... When I first started watching SOA, I became so drawn to the motorcycle club, so drawn to Jax Teller, the drama was crazy good! I was hooked from the beginning!
Ok, first of all let's just start with Jax.. Wow. He is so good looking right..? I love his bad boy amazingness that I fell in love with Season 1. He's a good dad.. been through a lot.. but.. let's just get this out there.. and I may be ever so very criticized for this, but... Jax doesn't really make a good President, not to me. I mean, he does in a way... but he is so caught up in being DIFFERENT from Clay that, he is becoming more and more like Clay all the time! He wants to be like John, but really he couldn't be more different. I am crazy mad about the way that Jax acts anymore.. I mean seriously he is so over dramatic, and SCREAMS all the time... I still like Jax, but he's just not at all the same character.. which I can't say that I would be either, after learning that my father figure/step-dad killed my dad, killed a man that was a constant in my life (piney), tried to kill my fiance/wife, beat my mother, got me wrapped up into drug/gun dealing with the Cartel, who are undercover CIA agents, watched my best friend be beaten to death in prison, became club president and had to deal with all the stress of that.. Jax has really had a time.. but, I am so disappointed in him doing that to Wendy! Yes, Wendy was a piece of crap mother while she was pregnant and after.. but she did get her life in order and was sober/clean, and honestly, I don't blame her at all for threatening to take Abel, because she was right in what she said.. it is dangerous and puts the kids in danger all the time! For Jax to inject that into her and her begging him not to, was horrible.. in the beginning, Jax was all about not harming a woman, blah blah.. did you seriously see him slap her across the room?! OMG!
Tara, Tara... Personally, I feel like she ruined the Jax I loved.. she's so great with the boys, but her and Jax just DO NOT belong together!!! Now, with that being said, do I think they love each other? Of course, they do! But they're not right for one another... Tara has gone through so much to be with Jax, but as amazing and good looking as he was... when is she going to realize it's ridiculous with the children to continue this.. it's so very dangerous! I hate when she tries to act all bad ass.. seriously.. she is just really ignorant to be such a smart woman... And was she asking Wendy to take on Abel AND Thomas, should something happen to her and Jax? Hmmm.. I am just not a fan of her.. at all! She's probably my least favorite character. And did anyone else think it's weird how close the Hospital Admin (or whatever) Lady is to Tara? Is there something up with that.. something that's not been revealed yet.. idk? I really could care less if Tara goes to prison because she just annoys me.. plus I mean really, if she's that stupid to bring something like that and other stuff into Otto then she deserves to be in trouble.. she's a surgeon.. she saves lives.. that takes an incredibly amazing and smart person.. but she is just so careless and ignorant.
Gemma.. I don't care who doesn't like Gemma, I love her... or, well I did, until Season 5... this season, she's just not Gemma. I do like Gemma and the new guy together though.. and I love her friendship with Uncer! Clay is really hard to like, but sometimes I feel so bad for him.. like the latest episode after Jax beat him down.. he just put his head in his hands and cried.. awe.. Made me think of a big manly guy like my Dad crying.. sad. And I think that he loves Jax, but Clay is out for himself, and that's just how he is. I think he loves Gemma, but the way he beat her was horrible! And him killing Piney was so terrible, I was so so mad when that happened! I mean, it's hard to feel bad for a guy that has brought it on himself.. I really hate the whole ordeal he has brought into the MC with the drugs and the cartel! SMH!
Juice.. I really felt sorry for him when it came to the whole dad ordeal because he was so scared and desperate to do whatever it took for the club not to find out.. but.. that's when I stopped liking Juice.. I felt awful for him.. but I just didn't like him anymore.. now he's so sketchy around everyone..
I really hated to see half sack, Piney and Opie go.. And Uncer I do really like.. but in season 4, he was just a jerk the way he acted! But I love his friendship with Gemma.. he truly loves her.. but if he ever thought it was gonna be anything more.. he was sadly mistaken.
Bobby is just annoying plain and simple.. I don't have much of an opinion on him. Chibs is alright.. Justin loves him! And Happy is just crazy haha, surprisingly good around the kids!
Tig I absolutely love and was devastated for him when he had to watch his baby girl be burnt to death.. that was horrific and awful! Based on the preview for next week Jax is supposed to be taking him out somewhere to meet someone I guess.. and Tig says are you sure this is the right place? and Jax says yeah.. and he brings out his gun and turns it on him.. That crap had better not go down or I will never watch SOA again! I think Tig is soooo funny.. especially with that drag queen hahahaha...
Season 5 just hasn't done it for me.. I would change so much if I could!
Enough about SOA... onto Pretty Little Liars.. yeah this was aired in October.. but I wanted to do all of my fall shows together! :)
So... the Halloween special started out pretty slow... I was actually quite bored throughout it! I was pretty disappointed in the entire episode.. I completely agree with the reference to Emily and Paige looking like a wedding cake topper from outer space, or whatever it was that was said.. haha! I didn't like their costume very well.. And Spencer's costume just wasn't enough for Halloween for me.. Hanna's was cute.. Jenna's was cute.. Aria's was my favorite though.
I seriously cannot even look at Toby anymore ever since we found out a few months ago.. he was not at all who I expected to be on team A.. well, until he got him some booty and was leaving Spencer and acting all weird after and said this is right where I need to be.. I knew something was up then.. Oh.. so glad we don't have to deal with Maya's crazy stalker anymore! And Mona seriously creeps me out.. and was she fonding Hanna's booty as Caleb, or was that Caleb? Hmmm..
Something is so fishy and up with Ezra and Caleb to me.. and of course Lucas and Jason.. hmm.. I have gotten to where Ezra just annoys me anymore really.. and Caleb.. I'm just not so sure that I trust either of them.. I don't really trust Ted the preacher guy either..
And Garrett.. wow! I knew as soon as he said he was leaving after he told Spencer he was as good as dead.. and why was Byron talking to Alison.. I'm hoping it was just about the incident that her and Aria saw, and not some weird affair.. ick! He totally seems the type though.. and why would Alison want Garrett to make Jenna think that he killed her..?? OMG if I was Aria I totally would've freaked out! And who else was helping Mona.. well I'm assuming it was Mona.. that was trying to push Aria off the train..? Who was the guy talking that Aria stabbed with the screwdriver or whatever..? And that twin little girl FREAKED me out! I guess they're gonna play out the whole twin thing from the books afterall..
And Ali's body being in the drink holder thingy.. disgusting.. and Ezra just randomly showed up to surprise Aria and heard someone was hurt.. hmmm... and Jason was there and gave out a reward for the body.. Ezra ended up getting a very large amount of money for "selling a car".. and they were both there after the body was found.. hmmmm.. looking pretty suspicious! Can't wait for PLL to come back on!!!
Grey's Anatomy.. last season the finale was crazy and so so sad.. and this season we found out the aftermath of the crash.. we saw Lexi die in the finale.. which was really sad.. and we found out that animals were fighting over her body.. ugh.. horrible!!! Mark died.. AWFUL! And I cried and cried.. And Cristina was traumatized, but I feel like we saw that already.. and she left! CRAZY! Owen just irritates me this season.. and Callie.. oh how I feel for her.. losing Mark and having to make such important life and death decisions for Arizona.. her leg being amputated and getting a prosthetic.. it's just been one sad season..
The Vampire Diaries... well, it's been quite boring this season.. I do not like Elena as a vampire any more than as a human.. yes, she's had an awful life the past few years and lost everyone but her brother, but she is such a whiner... shew... She just does not make that great a vampire, in my opinion.. Katherine is so so much better! And seriously.. after regaining your memory and everything Damon has done for you.. you still choose Stephen.. what's wrong with you...? I mean take a look at Damon! HOT! Hellur! And what about the back story about the vampire hunters... and their invisible ink to the normal seeing eye, but only visible to a vampire hunter or potential one.. what about Elena being haunted by him and Klaus by it in the past.. wow! And omg that preacher guy.. CRAZY!! I so love Caroline and Tyler, but how I wish Klaus and Caroline would get together.. Matt just irritates me along with Elena.. but wow.. I can't believe Rebecka did that to Matt! I think it's definitely gonna be interesting Jeremy becoming a VH while his sister and friends are vampires! I miss Alaric I've gotta say...
90210.. so glad that Dixon didn't die! I'm so glad that Vanessa chick is out of Liam's life.. but I can't help think it will disappear that easily.. and Navid.. seriously, his behavior is just plain ridiculous this season! I love Naomi and Max :)) so so glad that they got back together! And I just can't stand Alec.. omg.. so so glad to see him gone! Good job Max! And Conner..omg.. I knew the moment Annie got with him that something was up with him... ugh! I really like Riley and Annie together :).. Liam and his teacher was so obvious, but I'm not sure how I feel about that.. Adrianna and the new guy.. can't think of his name.. I kinda like them together, and wish that Dixon and the girl from therapy (Mandi?) that's dad was the truck driver would get together.. Catfish, MTV's new show about online dating and finally meeting on camera.. WOW, I've gotta say I love this show.. I've loved it from the first episode.. crazy! You never know who you're talking to.. I can't believe Sunny was talking to a girl the whole time... but I'm so glad that they let her meet Jamison or whatever his name was.. cute! That was a crazy awful thing to do.. for 8 months... I just don't get that! And the second episode.. with the male or female dancers/strippers meeting.. he obviously wasn't the same guy, but I think he truly loved her and I wanted them to get together.. but they didn't.. And the latest episode I was hoping they would get together too :( but I'm glad that they still talk every day and remain best friends.. I love this show!
The Secret Life of the American Teenager... I was freaking out about Jack, especially when his dad said so pitifully, shall we pray? AWE! I cried! I thought he was gonna die, but they probably wouldn't put Grace through that again after losing her dad and the affect that had on her.. Jack pulled through, but the way he acted when he did was insanely fake... I really love Leo and George, they're probably my favorite characters! I kinda miss Betty hahaha! Camille is ok, but the way she acted and punching Ben was just a little weird and ridiculous.. Leo has been such a jerk when it came to Ben, granted Ben has never behaved so ridiculously before.. So glad he started acting better with this latest episode.. I cannot stand Amy.. she is just annoying... so to me, Ben and Amy were perfect together because they were both annoying.. I like Ricky, but I don't like him with Amy.. well, I love the way he treats Amy and his 180 on his personality as we have known him over the years.. but Amy is whiny and childish. Ashley I liked ok, but then she just became weird! And Anne omg... I can't believe she's into women.. I did not see that coming! I'm so sad that Mimsy has Alzheimer's... I like George and Grace's mom together.. I just like George, what can I say?! I'm liking Leo and Camille adopting the girl.. but seriously, why did they buy Henry and Alice those extravagant vehicles...? I loved the whole way Cathy went into labor and had the baby.. and how we found out at the end that Hetty was his aunt, and her new name! :) And John just honestly doesn't look like a blend of Ricky and Amy.. he doesn't talk very much or anything to be 2-3... :( Robby does NOT look like George.. I don't think George is his father, but instead I think the other guy was! I like Omar and Adrian together.. but she does act quite immature sometimes to want a proposal/marriage/moving in together.. well a lot of times she says she doesn't or acts like that.. but you can tell she does! I was really pleased with the latest episode.
Once Upon a Time.. I am in love with this show.. but I will be so glad when Snow and Emma find their way back to Storybrooke because I don't like Mulan, I don't like Aurora.. I despise Cora, but I don't think she'll be going anywhere for a while.. I've just been sadly, kinda bored with it this season. I loved when we found out finally who Dr. Whale was.. which was quite a shocker.. but I was a little disappointed, but I was glad.. I feel so bad for Regina really... I do, but I don't.. I love Regina.. and I know that she truly loves Henry.. and I'm sorry, but Henry is one annoying child. Charming is annoying too... I just don't like him. I love Red, Snow, Rumpel and Regina.. they're my favorites! I was glad we learned more from Emma's past.. and hope we learn more about Henry's dad.. I kept thinking he was gonna be Jack and the Beanstalk, but he definitely wasn't.. he has to be something though right? He received the post card with the big clock that said Broken on the backside.. and had several different things about stories and fairytales in the apt... Do you think he is anyone special? I love Hook too.. I'm hoping that him and Emma get together, but I was pretty sad that August made things like that for Emma with Henry's dad, but it was all so that she could be the savior... What happened to August.. he turned to wood, then he was gone.. did he turn back? I am totally ready to meet Baelfire!!! I thought Baelfire was going to be Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, and be Henry's dad, but maybe not.. that would make it quite interesting and give Rumpel a connection to Henry... I love Rumpel.. I'm excited for the future episodes of Aladdin and The Little Mermaid!! :)
And I haven't really stayed caught up on Hart of Dixie.. and Teen Mom 2.. not much to say about that because we already knew about Leah and Corey divorcing, but I think that he's kinda being mean.. :-/ and Chelsea.. when will she learn? I think it was kinda rude how she acted to Adam about the bicycle/jeep.. I mean, at least he did eventually come and brought her a gift.. he was entirely WAY too late and that's ridiculous, but he did come.. Jenelle... shew.. there's a whole lot to say about that girl.. but it'll just annoy me.. well first of all.. she said.. no i really can't do that then because I have a concert that I HAVE to go to... it's Ke$ha, she's my idol.. blah blah.. seriously? That's not a reason. And seriously stop smoking pot and be a mother! GROW UP! OK, not sure where exactly to start.. so I'm just going to jump on in..
SONS OF ANARCHY: The season finale will be next Tuesday.. wow! I have to say, we started watching SOA, a couple of months ago, on Netflix, and completely blew through all of season 1-3 in a couple of weeks.. then I had an Amazon gift card, so I ended up buying Season 4 for Amazon instant video on xbox! We blew through that so crazy fast as well! It was getting insane! I loved seasons 1-3 like crazy, but then season 4 was just insane.. good, but insane! So, I had to keep watching.. Season 5 was already airing on tv and we had missed 5-6 episodes of it already, so I bought the episodes on Amazon instant video... and we caught up with what was being aired on television... sooooooo.... hmmm... When I first started watching SOA, I became so drawn to the motorcycle club, so drawn to Jax Teller, the drama was crazy good! I was hooked from the beginning!
Ok, first of all let's just start with Jax.. Wow. He is so good looking right..? I love his bad boy amazingness that I fell in love with Season 1. He's a good dad.. been through a lot.. but.. let's just get this out there.. and I may be ever so very criticized for this, but... Jax doesn't really make a good President, not to me. I mean, he does in a way... but he is so caught up in being DIFFERENT from Clay that, he is becoming more and more like Clay all the time! He wants to be like John, but really he couldn't be more different. I am crazy mad about the way that Jax acts anymore.. I mean seriously he is so over dramatic, and SCREAMS all the time... I still like Jax, but he's just not at all the same character.. which I can't say that I would be either, after learning that my father figure/step-dad killed my dad, killed a man that was a constant in my life (piney), tried to kill my fiance/wife, beat my mother, got me wrapped up into drug/gun dealing with the Cartel, who are undercover CIA agents, watched my best friend be beaten to death in prison, became club president and had to deal with all the stress of that.. Jax has really had a time.. but, I am so disappointed in him doing that to Wendy! Yes, Wendy was a piece of crap mother while she was pregnant and after.. but she did get her life in order and was sober/clean, and honestly, I don't blame her at all for threatening to take Abel, because she was right in what she said.. it is dangerous and puts the kids in danger all the time! For Jax to inject that into her and her begging him not to, was horrible.. in the beginning, Jax was all about not harming a woman, blah blah.. did you seriously see him slap her across the room?! OMG!
Tara, Tara... Personally, I feel like she ruined the Jax I loved.. she's so great with the boys, but her and Jax just DO NOT belong together!!! Now, with that being said, do I think they love each other? Of course, they do! But they're not right for one another... Tara has gone through so much to be with Jax, but as amazing and good looking as he was... when is she going to realize it's ridiculous with the children to continue this.. it's so very dangerous! I hate when she tries to act all bad ass.. seriously.. she is just really ignorant to be such a smart woman... And was she asking Wendy to take on Abel AND Thomas, should something happen to her and Jax? Hmmm.. I am just not a fan of her.. at all! She's probably my least favorite character. And did anyone else think it's weird how close the Hospital Admin (or whatever) Lady is to Tara? Is there something up with that.. something that's not been revealed yet.. idk? I really could care less if Tara goes to prison because she just annoys me.. plus I mean really, if she's that stupid to bring something like that and other stuff into Otto then she deserves to be in trouble.. she's a surgeon.. she saves lives.. that takes an incredibly amazing and smart person.. but she is just so careless and ignorant.

I thought Baelfire was going to be Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, and be Henry's dad, but maybe not.. that would make it quite interesting and give Rumpel a connection to Henry... I love Rumpel.. I'm excited for the future episodes of Aladdin and The Little Mermaid!! :)
And I haven't really stayed caught up on Hart of Dixie.. and Teen Mom 2.. not much to say about that because we already knew about Leah and Corey divorcing, but I think that he's kinda being mean.. :-/ and Chelsea.. when will she learn? I think it was kinda rude how she acted to Adam about the bicycle/jeep.. I mean, at least he did eventually come and brought her a gift.. he was entirely WAY too late and that's ridiculous, but he did come.. Jenelle... shew.. there's a whole lot to say about that girl.. but it'll just annoy me.. well first of all.. she said.. no i really can't do that then because I have a concert that I HAVE to go to... it's Ke$ha, she's my idol.. blah blah.. seriously? That's not a reason. And seriously stop smoking pot and be a mother! GROW UP! Your mother has honestly given you too many chances.. if you don't get your act together now.. you'll be 30 doing the same crap and be in and out of jail and not have your child at all.. and have no help or anything from your mother.. she will end up not even having anything to do with you if you keep on.. shew! Cailyn.. I don't think I have anything negative to say about her.. just obviously another reason she's doing what she is, is because she's still in love with Joe and doesn't want him to be with that girl.. but I do agree with her..
I'm hoping the finales of my shows are worthy! And I'm so so excited for PLL.. January 8th!!! :)

My Favorite Scents for Fall & Winter! :) *Scentsy and Candles*

2. Frosted Ginger Cookie: Chewy brown sugar cookie spiked with warming ginger and fragrant vanilla. This is one of my new favorite smells! It's a new Fall/Winter Scentsy scent, and it smells amazing! In the packaging, it oddly kind of reminds me of fruit loops, but when it melts, it smells like gingerbread cookies! Smells as though I've been baking all day long!
3. French Toast: A perfect, light slice of bread dunked in golden egg batter, dusted with powdered sugar, and finished with a swirl of sweet maple syrup. Ok, this is one of my new favorites as well! It's a new Corner Cafe Scentsy scent this catalog! I'm telling you.. all I did was take two cubes out of the packaging, and my company could smell it in the next room, without it even melting.. and they LOVED it!! It's amazing! Makes me quite hungry! haha!
4. Lemon Coconut Chiffon: Melt-in-your-mouth lemon custard layered with butter cake and sprinkled with toasted coconut. This smells amazing!! Just like lemon cookies! MMM..
5. Mochadoodle: Delicious roasted coffee beans and cocoa, balanced with sugar, caramel, and heavy cream. If you love the smell of coffee, but sometimes it's a bit too potent for you, this is the perfect scent for you! :)

I'm a wild, crazy person haha, what can I say. ;) but this is a good one, even for a guy.. it reminds me more of a man smell.. but I like it!
3. Pumpkin Caramel Latte: Gather with friends and celebrate the season with this warm, rich blend of creamy pumpkin, spiced caramel and sweet cream. This reminds me of the Hub or Starbucks, and kinda caramel corn too! MMMM!
4. Leaves: A fragrance that embodies the richness of fall-with all of its colors and pleasures-featuring notes of golden nectar, ripe delicious apple and red berries! This is like fall in a jar! :)
5. Frosted Cupcake: A true food-lover's delight--fresh vanilla bean, sugar, cake batter and rich buttercream frosting mix it up and create an irresistible scent. Well, this is in fact irresistible! I am quite fond of this candle!
6. Vanilla Snowflake: Fill your home with a delectable blend of creamy vanilla and winter mint with a light coconut kiss that brings back memories of making angels in winter's first snowfall. This is my absolute favorite candle of the bath and body works candles.. I'm not even sure exactly what the smell is, but it reminds me of life when I was a kid.. and I love it!

And the Mainstays Vanilla Spice smells good, but honestly with candles, to me, you get what you pay for! I love with Scentsy you don't have to worry about smoke and nasty black soot, like on the Mainstays candle in the picture.. that is just nasty! So I definitely recommend Scentsy =D

GIVEAWAY!!! *CLOSED*
I am a SUCKER for freebies! I love them! Who doesn't?! haha! I love trying new things for FREE, or getting a sample of something I already love for free! I should really blog more about freebies I find because each week I'm getting at least one new sample/freebie sent to me! haha! I will try and upload a freebie/sample post this coming week!
Anyway, Tide was giving away free samples of their laundry pods a while back... so, of course, loving freebies, and loving Tide... I jumped at that offer and signed up for one! I hadn't ever tried their pods at the time.. They arrived pretty quickly as well.. I wasn't expecting it to come just yet, so it was nice to see it arrive so fast!
I tried them out, and I loved them.. I like to use Tide or Purex laundry detergent.. I have used so many different brands and types of detergent, but I find that I love Tide the best, and for a cheaper detergent.. for our household, Purex works wonders and smells great! I have tried the Purex laundry pods, and I wasn't impressed.. I do not like their scent Mountain Breeze, I believe it is.. the Purex detergent with the green lid.. I love the purple lid detergent though!
Anyway, back to Tide... I tried their pod, and was instantly hooked.. so convenient and easy.. just turn on your washer, throw in a pod, and load in your clothes, and wait.. no messy measurements! They're great! I highly recommend them! :)
So... I know everyone has laundry to do.. male or female... I wanted to do a giveaway, and I wasn't sure what to do my first giveaway for on this blog, so I decided why not do the Tide Pods?! They're affordable, perfect for a busy person or someone just dreading laundry.. :)

My Favorite Thrift & Yard/Garage Sale Finds
One of my favorite past times is thrifting and going to garage/yard sales! I have been doing it for years.. since I was a child with my Mom, Memal, and Nanny! It was always a good time... you never knew what you would find!
I found most of Aiden's knick-knacks/decor for his "Farmyard" themed nursery when he was a baby at yard sales for hardly anything! It really pulled the look together quite well! There was all sorts of cow related items that people were getting rid of.. so, I scooped them up for .25, .50, 1.00 each.. I don't think I paid over $1 for any of those things! :)
I really hit the jackpot when it comes to Children's books! At Salvation Army, I have found nearly the entire set of Cabbage Patch Kid books, a few Rose Petal Place books, The Charlie Brown Encyclopedia set, a Childcraft encyclopedia set, and many other wonderful Children's books, vintage and modern! :) They're my weakness! :) Salvation Army and Goodwill are awesome to hit up for expanding your child's library! Most of our books are used/second hand, and most of them were purchased for .25, .50 or $1! :)
I recently found a few books for myself to read.. and really.. I shouldn't be out buying more books, when I have a book case full of them I need to finish! But one of them was on my To Read list anyway, and they were only .50, so I couldn't help but snatch them up! The Time Traveler's Wife, Army Wives, Goddess: Marilyn Monroe, and The Lucky One.
I am so fortunate to have a guy who will actually go thrifting and yard saling with me.. He will actually look for books for himself. He's quite the bookworm, which I'm very pleased about that as well! :)
So, basically.. what I look for when I go to these things are basically the same, however, if I find something that I'm not looking for.. that's a nice bonus! :) When I begin, I start with the knick knacks, decor, and household section.. and then I move on to infant clothing for Miss Piper and Mr. Jaxsen (our sweet little nephew).. then it's on to clothing for Mr. Aiden... next is books.. then is accessories (ties, purses, scarves, etc), and if I have enough time I will look for Justin and myself something in the clothing section. I'm not sure why, but this is my routine, when going to a garage sale or thrift store. I try and go weekly. It's best if you go first thing in the morning as well, or late in the afternoon I find.. whenever they're putting the new stuff out! :)
I find quite a bit of nice shirts for Aiden when I go, and usually some nice clothes for Piper as well! I usually never find them both something on the same trip.. when I find a great abundancy of things for Aiden, they won't have much for Piper.. and vise versa!
My favorite finds... hmmm.. that's so hard because I have found so many things.. hmmm.. Well, here are some photos of my favorites :)

I'm in love with these huge blue mason jars! :) I've picked up several at yard sales, and had a few handed down to me.. but this is the only one that I've not broken yet *knock on wood*!
Love my Abraham Lincoln little cup... it's faded and worn, but it's a cute sentimental thing to me! I also love my Abraham Lincoln golden bust I grabbed at a yard sale as well! :)
Excuse the mess, I need to clean my mirror! It's one of my favorite yard sale finds.. it is HUGE and very heavy and very pretty, but only cost me $10!

I got this at a local yard sale in perfect condition, barely used for $1! I'm a sucker for little tykes toys, especially the vintage ones!!! :)

I am obsessed with this photography tie! I had to buy it! I am most likely going to fix it up somehow to use for the strap for the camera :) soooo stinking cute!
Loving this Wilson's Leather Men's wallet I got for $1.50. I have a recipient in mind for this :)
I'm obsessed with vintage crossbody bags at the moment, so every time I find a nice one, I grab it up! They were all around $3 each I believe.. the white one was only $1.50 though... The top one Vintage Coach (most likely not real.. I just liked the bag.. reminds me of a saddlebag:)), white and black are both by Liz Claibourne, and the last two I'm not sure of.. :)

Happy Halloween!!!
We had a wonderful Halloween!!
On Monday, we went to my Mom's and worked on our pumpkins. She had bought the kiddos pumpkins for her house, and I just brought the ones that we had got for them along so that we could get them finished. Aiden's for her house turned out to be rotten :-( so him and Piper had to share. Aiden wanted Mario, and we had no stencils and no way of printing one, so I had to just look at a picture and draw it onto there.. I am by no means an artist either! haha! I did a Jack Skellington type for myself, and did a Hello Kitty for Piper.. since I didn't have a stencil and had to draw it out with a sharpie, then cut.. it ended up breaking at the whiskers because I had drawn it too close together!
:-( But we just propped it right back up there! They turned out pretty cute I've gotta say! :-)
I painted a little planter to look like Frankenstein, well, as best as I could, haha. Aiden and Mimi made some Halloween cookies, and Jeff and her frosted them. They were pretty good! We had some chilli (seriously best chilli.. kudos to Jeff) and watched Once Upon A Time, while we carved the pumpkins. It was a good time all around!
On Tuesday, we went over to Judy and Jerry's (Justin's parents) and brought them breakfast, and ended up carving the kiddos pumpkins she had gotten for Aiden, Piper and our nephew Jaxsen. :) We did their names, and they looked pretty cute too!
I love pumpkins! :) Well, just this whole time of year really.. October-December is the best time of the year, in my opinion! :)
I was super stressed on Monday because I had looked everywhere for Aiden his SONIC the Hedgehog costume, in stores and online, and everywhere was sold out. Then, he decided he would be HULK... it was also sold out. So, then he decided he wanted to be something from Star Wars... wasn't the right size... so, he said Wolverine, and if they don't have it, Thor. So, I order Wolverine and Minnie Mouse (for Piper) on walmart.com, and they were free shipping and guaranteed to arrive by Monday or Tuesday. We check the post office on Monday, of course they're not there.. sigh! I check my email to see when they may arrive, and Walmart.com had emailed me, letting me know that they had shipped out my order! Well, I had also received another email from them that they had cancelled an order (Aiden's Wolverine costume) because of a conflict with shipping. They said they didn't ship to PO boxes, yet, they shipped out Piper's Minnie Mouse costume to our post office. So that was a disaster... had to try and find Aiden a very last minute costume, that he could fit into and that he liked as well. He ended up being Optimus Prime, and he loves Transformers, but that wasn't at all the costume he wanted. Sigh. Piper's hadn't arrived on Monday... it didn't arrive on Tuesday either.. I was seriously worried and stressing, but already began searching and planning on a cute DIY fast costume for her. Finally, Wednesday, it came.. just in the knick of time! Talk about a close call!! I am not very satisfied with that experience from Walmart.com.
We got Aiden a book called The Monster Diaries, and got Piper a devil, mummy, and vampire rubber ducky, and gave them each some money for their piggy banks. :)
We fixed Aiden up some little goody bags filled with Halloween candy for his classmates on Wednesday for their party, and he got to wear his costume to school, so that was fun! Trick or treating was from 5pm-7pm here.
On Monday, we went to my Mom's and worked on our pumpkins. She had bought the kiddos pumpkins for her house, and I just brought the ones that we had got for them along so that we could get them finished. Aiden's for her house turned out to be rotten :-( so him and Piper had to share. Aiden wanted Mario, and we had no stencils and no way of printing one, so I had to just look at a picture and draw it onto there.. I am by no means an artist either! haha! I did a Jack Skellington type for myself, and did a Hello Kitty for Piper.. since I didn't have a stencil and had to draw it out with a sharpie, then cut.. it ended up breaking at the whiskers because I had drawn it too close together! :-( But we just propped it right back up there! They turned out pretty cute I've gotta say! :-)
I painted a little planter to look like Frankenstein, well, as best as I could, haha. Aiden and Mimi made some Halloween cookies, and Jeff and her frosted them. They were pretty good! We had some chilli (seriously best chilli.. kudos to Jeff) and watched Once Upon A Time, while we carved the pumpkins. It was a good time all around!

Let's Get Naked! UD NAKED2 Palette Review
Haha, excuse the title... ;)
If you read my birthday post, you know I got the amazing Urban Decay Naked2 Palette! First of all, let me start by saying how much I love love love this brand! UD is a brand that I can buy something to try, and know I'm more than likely going to love it! It is a brand I trust! It's high quality product, worth every penny, and it's one of my favorite high end brands! :)
I have been lusting over the UD Naked and Naked2 palettes for quite some time... since the first came out. I wanted to get it so badly, but I chose makeup set by Tarte (another amazing brand) instead... I really want to get the Naked palette to compare the two of them now! :)
My mom and I had both been drooling over the Naked2 at Ulta earlier this year, and she ended up getting her one, and when we went to Michigan last month to visit my Memal, I got my hands on it and got to use it! I loved it! She ended up getting it for me for my birthday! :)
Anyways.. Let's get back to the whole point of this blog post.... A review on the UD Naked2 palette!
Packaging really sells something to me. If the packaging is bland or ugly, or poorly put together, or really cheap quality.. I am less likely to buy that product. No worries with Urban Decay products! They all come so nicely packaged.
The palette comes in a nice metal-tin container, with a mini Lip Junkie lipgloss in the shade "Naked". Now, I have looked over the original Naked palette in Ulta and Sephora when it first came out, and I have to say comparing the Naked2 palette and original Naked palette based on packaging, Naked2 has it hands down, it's much nicer and sleeker.
This palette is amazing for those of you who love neutral-toned eyeshadows! And it's A LOT more BANG for your buck because one UD full-size eyeshadow alone costs $17-18 on their website.. and you're getting 12 full-size eyeshadows, for $50 instead of $204-216; That is a HUGE difference! That's not even counting the brush and lip product you are getting in addition to the eyeshadows!
Opened up you will see 12 full-sized eyeshadows and a full-length mirror going across the top.
The mirror is a pretty decent size. Also included in the palette is a dual ended eyeshadow brush: one end is a flat brush and the other is a fluffy blending brush.
The palette also comes with a mini Lip Junkie gloss in the shade Naked. The lipgloss is cute and mini sized with a pretty cap. The color is flattering and goes with the colors so well! It also has a minty cooling effect. This is perfect to throw in your purse!
The palette contains 12 full-size shadows, 3 of them being mattes (foxy, tease, and blackout). With every single shade in the palette being amazingly pigmented and gorgeous!
