Hello 2016!!

Hey y'all! Welcome to 2016!! It is hard to believe another year has came upon us! It seems like after you graduate, get married and have children, then those children start school, time goes by even faster than you could ever imagine. We should all really learn to take things as slow as we can, live each day in the moment, drop our stresses and anxieties and just BE. It's definitely hard to do that, but this year that is something I am going to try my best to work on and improve. I spend way too much time worrying and stressing... ain't nobody got time for that, right? ;)

With that in mind, I wanted to PUBLICLY announce some of my GOALS (no, not resolutions because let's face it, no one ever keeps those!) for 2016, and I would LOVE to be held accountable by you all and hear some of your goals for this brand sparkling new year! :)

1. Try to live in the moment, drop my anxiety and stress levels, and let go and just let God. He always seems to work His magic and pull me up out of my darkest moments. :)

2. Lose Weight!!! Now with this goal, comes lots and lots of other goals naturally. I would like to initially make my first goal of weight loss at 10 pounds lost, then my second goal at 20 total pounds lost, then 40 total pounds lost. I would definitely LOVE to lose more than 40 pounds this year, but I want to keep it at a number that I can really strive to lose, and 40 pounds is definitely a realistic goal for a year I feel, yet it is still a really nice number of pounds to lose. I plan to achieve this goal by changing my eating habits, eating out less, getting more active and drinking more water!

3. Visit more local places. Local does not only apply to my hometown, but to our state. There are many places in Kentucky that I have never visited but would like to, and there are also several places that I have visited that my children or husband have never experienced. This goal doesn't only apply to attractions, but also shops, restaurants, activities, etc.

4. A huge goal of mine I would love to accomplish is to finally get my storefront up and running for the public. We are in the middle of actually hunting down another building to rent/lease. It is proving to be quite the job as we are from a very tiny town. I am also looking to a couple surrounding areas also, but I would love to keep it locally to our small town.

5. I would LOVE to be more organized also. This is something I have always, always struggled with. Does the phrase, "Organized Chaos" mean anything to anyone else but me? Ha ha!

6. Spend more time with my children and husband, doing things together other than watching a movie or show on Netflix.  My husband's work schedule puts a little bit of a damper on this, as he is only off of work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and my son has school during the week and his Dad spends part of the week with him as well. It is something we will definitely work on and figure out though! :)

7. I also want to get back into blogging and couponing!

8. I would love to read 20 books in 2016. I absolutely love reading and it is something I have really slacked on the past few years sadly, but that is all going to change in 2016.

What are some of your goals for 2016? I would love to hear them!! <3

I will be doing a giveaway very soon!!! Stay tuned, and keep me in check!! ;)
