Let me just jump right in: My husband is such a sweaty man, ha ha. There's no denying that.. no sugar coating it. You can go in the bedroom, and he has the covers all gross and sweaty... I forbid him to touch my pillow because I sure don't want it a big sweaty mess! :)
He works long, 12 hour shifts as a correctional officer/deputy jailer at our local detention center. Sometimes things get stressful and very hectic there, while on duty. You have to be ready to move fast and ready take control in every situation. He does not like being hot either, and often, the jail can get pretty stuffy and warm.
I was super excited to get the email letting me know that I had been selected to receive the DOVE Men Influenster voxbox.
It came in a nice box, with black tissue paper. I wish I had gotten a picture of the unboxing, but sometimes when the kids and dog are running wild and crazy, you're lucky if you get off to yourself without having something damaged. Oh, that mommyhood life... nothing like it!
Inside was the new Dove Men+Care Dry Spray in Invisible Fresh. The scent was very nice and manly, but not at all like one of those over powering colognes that you discover when a guy who thinks he is full of swagger and thinks the concept more is better comes walking past you, and you gag and spit because you have inhaled all the fumes from the cologne, and it's so much you can taste it. ICK. Definitely not like that, a good subtle, nice manly scent. Wifey approved!
On the bottle, it also states No white marks on 100 colors! Now this... this is important for us, because my husband wears an all black uniform, so no white marks is a very good thing. I hate those white marks, from any deodorant. Ahhh, nothing is more annoying than throwing on a cute dark top and getting ready to head out the door when you glance in the mirror for a final look to see if everything is in place, and there they are.. the dreaded white marks sticking out, staring at you, all you can see. So annoying right?!
It also read Non-irritant, which is amazing as well. My husband has very sensitive arm pits, and so many deodorants, I will not mention any brands, but there's a gel deodorant he has used forever, smells great and does the job, but it leaves red fleshy blotches on his arm pits and rubs them raw almost. Ouch! This definitely passed the test.
48 hour powerful protection... yeah, remember when I told you, my husband sweats a lot. This withstood his sweat in a hot jail during 12 hour shifts!
It passed the Wifey approval test, and well, look here.. judging by the selfie, it passed the Man test too! He even said it doubled as a cologne/body spray. Oh good grief, don't tell me I'm married to one of those guys I mentioned earlier. EEK. Ha ha. But in all seriousness, he did love it and said he will most definitely be repurchasing.
