If so, you are in for a bit of a treat, if you regularly don't get lots of Dish Network channels, or any at all, but have a box, it is possible that you will be able to watch free channels each month that Dish Network offers!!
I discovered this recently when I thought our Dish was working (our subscription had ended actually, so it in fact, wasn't working) and there were a few channels that were coming up!! This is normal... it's called Dish Network Free Preview!!
Each month Dish Network selects a few channels (seems to be around 4-5 of them, but don't quote me on that!!) that they do a free preview on all month long! Neat!! :) We watch loads of Netflix and Hulu +, sometimes Amazon Instant Video to keep our expenses on television down, and there are loads on those subscriptions. I will discuss those in a different blog though.
Anyways, back to Free Preview... This month's free preview includes the following:
1. Al Jazeera America -- Channel #215
2. Food Network -- Channel #110
3. H2 -- Channel #121
4. NatGeo Wild -- Channel #190
5. Nick Jr. -- Channel #169
6. Nicktoons -- Channel #178
7. OWN -- Channel #189
This free preview began on Thursday, November 6, 2014 and will end on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. There you have it, enjoy it if you can!! I know we are going to enjoy Food Network, Nick Jr., and Nicktoons. I haven't watched the other channels much that are included this month, but I will check them out, and you should too! :)
